Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is a classic fixed shooter arcade game where your goal is to fend off invading creatures such as centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas using your trusty bugblaster. Aim to survive as long as possible in this thrilling challenge! Your bugblaster fires small darts at the segmented centipede, which is made up of 10 to 12 body parts, including its head. When you hit a segment, it transforms into a mushroom, and each piece continues to move independently down the screen toward you. To destroy the centipede completely, you must target and hit its head first. Control your bugblaster using the keyboard or mouse to navigate and shoot at the approaching enemies.
